Service
Service — after-sales & repair
Every repair, from the machine arriving to the customer signing it back out.
Service jobs run on a seven-stage track — intake, inspect, quote, repair, test, ready, returned. Quotes become CRM deals, parts come from stock or a purchase request, warranty is checked at the door, and the cost lands on a Job Control like any other work.

The document flow
How it flows
- 1
Open the job
Log the customer's machine — on site or brought into the workshop. A template fills the checklist and standard quote lines, and the warranty check runs immediately: our repair warranty beats the maker's.
- 2
Inspect with photos
The technician works from their phone: visit times, checklist, photos and a failure code, so later reports can show what actually breaks.
- 3
Quote — straight into the pipeline
Parts, labour and transport become a printable quote that is also a CRM deal. Declined? An inspection fee can still be billed, once.
- 4
Parts from stock or a PR
Issue parts from stock at average cost, or raise a purchase request for local or imported parts — it follows the normal PO and goods-receipt flow back to this job.
- 5
Repair, test, sign
Complete with a customer signature, produce the hand-over document and a billing summary with withholding tax worked out for your accounting team.
- 6
Hand back — and come back on schedule
Returning the machine starts the repair warranty. Maintenance plans open the next preventive job when it is due.

Frequently asked
Does Service issue tax invoices?
No — Tonbab produces the hand-over document and a billing summary with withholding tax worked out. Your accounting software issues the tax invoice.
Is the customer's machine counted in our stock?
No — customer machines are recorded as custody, never as received stock. Only loaners you lend out move through your inventory.
Do we need CRM to use Service?
Quotes are stored as deals so sales can forecast them; Service works alongside the Operation core and turns on per company.
